Recent instances of student athlete suicides have shed light on the pervasive issue of mental health challenges, including depression and anxiety, among student athletes in both high school and college. The best action we can take in response is to learn to recognize the warning signs, check in with those around us, and ensure everyone knows where to go for help.
To that end, Take Action for Mental Health is pleased to provide the Student Athlete Suicide Prevention Toolkit.
Through this toolkit we empower school administration, parents, coaches, team members, and many others with the know-how to help a student athlete before they are in crisis.
